The Finance Director/City Clerk supports the City of Soap Lake community by providing outstanding and innovative financial services. Our daily mission is to provide accountability for all public funds, assets, policies and systems in the most effective and efficient manner possible, maximizing the use of limited resources, all the while delivering responsive, quality customer service to our citizens and fellow employees.
The City Clerk’s Office provides a variety of services that support the City Council, City Departments, and the residents of Soap Lake, Washington.
It is our responsibility to coordinate the production of meeting materials for City Council Meetings, provide public notification, and produce meeting minutes. Other functions of the Clerk’s Office is to manage requests for public records, and take payments.
